SAP is the Standard Assessment Procedure for dwellings. It is the approved tool for checking energy compliance with Building Regulations using Approved Document L1 in England and Wales.
SAP calculations are required at the design stage when plans are submitted for Building Control approval, and at the sign-off stage when construction is complete.
We provide our clients with electronic or paper correspondence including;
- A letter stating a pass or fail
- Additional recommendations in plain English to achieve a pass if required
- Full Building Regulation Checklists for Design and As Built Stage submission
- U-Value calculations for submission to Building Control if required
- Comprehensive advice and support throughout the whole process
- A Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) at Design Stage
